Stella Circus
This photo did not make it into my current project, but I still love it. I think it’s a great example of how film can handle a bright summer day. I typically like to focus on the details of a scene or search for some compelling view, but sometimes it’s just nice to take a picture that tells more of the story. I think of this picture as a kind of environmental portrait.
We saw this performance by Circus Stella at the Caroline County Agricultural Fair. I did some research and enjoyed reading about this family circus show. I was impressed with their work ethic and their commitment to kind and responsible treatment of their dogs, who are big part of the show.
