I was drawn to this photograph by the sweet little girl wearing her tutu and her rain boots, holding her Mama’s hand, with a balloon tied to her wrist. It’s not her mother that I identify with, it’s her.
Like a little girl, when I’m motivated and doing what I enjoy, what I love most, I don’t manage my energy well.
Thrilled by my projects, I tend to take it a little too far.
It always ends up the same. And I have to face my biggest fear: emptiness.
I like to live with my heart wide open, full-speed ahead.
But I want to remember . . .
Sometimes, taking a step back is the best way to move forward.
