We watched a great movie tonight, Mothers and Daughters. I could relate to every little story within the larger story because it mirrored my own life in many ways.
My mother lights up over the sweet bouquet of zinnias I bring for her. She reaches over to squeeze my arm and says, "I love you. I don't know what I'd do without you." I tell her I love her, too, and we sit in quiet companionship, knowing we are blessed.
My favorite line from the movie –
“Some people can’t see the love they have until they see it through someone else’s eyes.”
