Today is day 100 of my daily photography practice.

I worried that a daily practice might be “one more thing.”

I learned about “one more thing syndrome” from Life Coach Lauren Dearing Russo, by way of my friend Helen and her Weekly Findings.

And, Wow, this is me! I’ve spent countless days squeezing in just one more thing. I answered just one more email, edited just one more photograph, and finished just one more chore – all at the expense of my bare minimum needs for sleeping, eating, exercising, and relaxing.

Wise words from Laura –

If I can’t fit it in my schedule without making myself crazy, I need to do some rearranging, not just adding.

I really don’t need one more thing to do.

But, as it turns out, this 365 Project is not just one more thing. I know because the work rejuvenates my spirit and replenishes my energy. It’s the same feeling I have after a workout, when I know I’ve done something really good for myself.  I'm celebrating 100 days of making time for making something of myself.
