This is an iconic view in my city - the view of the train bridge overlooking the Rappahannock River. Most every photographer who lives in or visits Fredericksburg takes this picture. And even though I've taken this picture many times, I do not tire of the view nor designate the photograph as mundane. Every time I look this way, and see this bridge, I feel at home.

Sometimes we have the chance to see what is all around us, but that we've never 'seen' because we've never looked at it . . . relegated these images to the constant flow of redundant information to be ignored in order that we should not be hopelessly overloaded. –Halla Beloff, Camera Culture

I don't ever want to walk along the river and see this place and not notice its beauty.
