I’m on “wander time.” Time is changing for me. I have a bit more breathing space. –Kerri Smith
Our days have a rhythm to them and the music flows more freely now. Stop here. Pull over there. Let’s follow this path. We are always on a journey home, but there is no rush to get there.
We spend many hours side-by-side, working, reading, talking, laughing, hiking, cooking and eating, sleeping, and playing. He is my best friend. Once in a while a cloud drifts overhead and makes me feel afraid. What would my life be like without him? How would I bear that loss? I don’t dwell on the days and ways we may die, instead I embrace these moments when we live fully.
