I’m taking a class, Cultivating Wonder, with Andrea Scher. This class ties in well with my daily photo practice where beautiful things do not demand attention but simply invite awareness.
I find myself saying “Wow” every day.
“Wow, the colors of my walk today are bright and sunny.”
“Wow, I remember when my son packed a little suitcase just like this one to visit Grandma. And I cried when I dropped him off.”
“Wow, pink roses and sunshine are the colors of sherbet.”
“Wow, look how brave she is painting in the studio window for all to see. She is so deeply focused on her painting, not even my stares interrupt the creative flow of her work.”
