This is my everyday look.
Even though the warmth of the sun and being outside rejuvenate me, I still want to protect my skin from too much sun. I’ve dealt with my mother’s ongoing struggles with skin cancer over the last few years, and while not life-threatening, it is surely painful, expensive and time-consuming. I have sensitive skin and many sunscreens contain chemicals that irritate my face. There are other sunscreens that contain minerals to help block the sun’s harmful rays and these are less likely to irritate my skin. But either way, I am concerned that the minerals and chemicals might harm my camera pressed close to my face. My solution is this sun hat by Tula. The brim is wide enough to keep the sun off my face but still allow me to use my camera. It’s cool and comfortable and with a UPF 50+, it makes sun protection look good.
