If I could wave a magic wand and change one thing about myself it would be my thinking.

I would do away with the mental filter that leads to self-doubt, where I pick out a single detail and dwell on it exclusively until it discolors my entire vision. More often than I’d like to admit, I jump to conclusions, discount positive experiences and comments, and reason with my emotions, which do not necessarily reflect the way things really are.

On those days when my thinking seems distorted, there is no better therapy than a ride in the country and the view through my camera lens.
