Walking 10,000 steps a day takes me many interesting places. Sometimes we are off on an adventure, and sometimes my feet simply carry me round and round my own neighborhood or out to the main road where I turn around as cars whiz by one after the other. But today I ventured a little further. Along this road, where residence meets commerce, little homes that once housed families are sometimes make-shift business offices. Workers come and go, setting up jobs for the day, and on the front porch there is a single chair, an invitation to sit and rest, if only for a few moments, and enjoy this spring day.
After taking my picture of the welcoming chair on the front porch, I just stood there with camera in hand, feeling so very lucky to be able to do such things like this . . .
