My photography assignment for this week is night time pictures.
I am typically and early riser and love the soft glow light of morning hours.
Night time usually finds me cuddled in pajamas, snuggled on the couch with Dave, watching a television program or reading a book.
Maybe it’s time to shake things up a bit.
As the sun began to set, we watched the fisherman at the City Docks along the Rappahannock pack up their gear and head for home.
We rode along familiar streets beneath the glow of a nearly full moon. With windows rolled down and warm spring breezes circulating, we felt lighthearted and carefree.
The city has a whole different aura at night, as though it is waiting, just on the verge of something truly magical.
To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place . . . I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. — Elliott Erwitt
