Looking back over my photographs for this year, there is one clear change.
And you wouldn’t be able to notice the difference because it lies not in better technique or more interesting compositions. The difference is that I find pictures in places where I once would have thought, "there is nothing here to see.”
So the difference is not in the pictures I make, it’s in making those pictures at all. The shots where the light isn’t great, the subject isn’t framed well, the focus is off, the horizon is crooked. . . and the moment is still right.
Make the most of where you are and who you‘re with, and try and look at everything in a new and positive light. –Christian McLeod
