“I came across a photograph not long ago, in an album that all but fell apart in my hands. The faded color picture was taken more than 50 years ago with a Kodak Instamatic, and while the focus may have been less than pristine, the memory it jarred loose was sharp and clear.”

My camera is my constant companion, keeping me company as I go about my day. I do not encounter scenic vistas or flowering trees or even a dog wagging its tail.
Still there are things to photograph. I swing my camera to my eye, only to be consumed by the everyday beauty of my home.
And when it’s time to carry on with the day, I find myself wishing, like a young child, for just 10 more minutes of fun.
