motivation is something we create

I'm listening to a series of podcasts, Primal Potential by Elizabeth Benton,  recommended by a friend.

Thanks, Karen!

In a recent newsletter from Elizabeth, she shared these wise words:

I am not content to sit on the sidelines of my life, choosing mediocre indulgences at the cost of my best life.
But here's the thing: like you, I don't always have that fire. I don't always have that in the forefront of my mind. I have to actively put it there.
One of the ways I do this is by reading a page or two from a book that inspires me.

Like Elizabeth, when I struggle to get motivated and focused, I often turn to books or one of my favorite blogs.

I read a few paragraphs, and something strikes me, and then I simply start.
